In February 2017, VKontakte launched a new function – “Charity”. Russia’s largest social network decided to help charitable organizations become more efficient and teach them how to use VKontakte capabilities correctly. Half a year later the program reached its full capacity: a system of foundations verification operates in the social network, a program of remote training for non-profit organizations’ employees is launched while charitable organizations received the first ten grants to support their projects.
